Things i have learned as a Toxic Player

Finest Support··23 votes·1,919 views

1- It does not make my teammates play better , it does not make me play better

2- Makes me look bad in the eyes of everyone ( even if i may have a reason to be mad)

3- Does not help me improve , since i attribute any mistake to my teammates

4- I have learned that the common factor in my games is me , and therefore I am the problem

5- I have learned that as a low ELO player i do not know everything and have to improve myself.

6- I BELONG in my assigned rank because bad decision making , bad mechanics and bad understanding of champions leads me to die.

7- To not sink to the same level as other toxic players and just mute and carry on

In the end anybody who is currently having a negative attitude in the game must realize that it only takes time , patience , practice and watching pro players to get better at the game. There is no need to blame others , one must learn to hug tower , realize being behind in cs is better than feeding extensively if you are not getting any ganks , trust your teammates and just display better sportsmanship to make League a better place for everyone.

As a non toxic player, I can tell you that:

  • I DO perform worse when i'm raged at,
  • that I have more game/map awareness when my teammates have a positive attitude

Lets say you are 0-2 in lane (solo kills) I tell you "Dont die solo again" Do you:

  1. Ignore me and play exactly like u did before, probably resulting in more deaths?
  2. Hug tower and play as safe as possible, so i/the others have a chance to carry?
  3. Say "F*ck you dont tell me what to do" and start intentional feed?
  4. Think i'm toxic AF and go AFK?

Honestly, what do u do? I would really like to know

Honestly what is the point of saying that? If they aren't trolling or aren't 100% braindead they know they shouldn't try to die to them. "Stop dying"...such useful advice...

I start playing safe, wait for the jungler or ward more? buy a pink? telling me not to die solo isn't considered as flaming in my eyes don't worry

This. This is the kind of stuff the community needs to see, realize, and understand. This is the true mark of a reformed player. I commend thee. May you have the best of games on the rift. Bravo!

I think one thing that people need to understand is that there will always be games where you will lose no matter what. It's all about getting a lead on your opponent and hoping that most of your team does so too.

Things i have learned as a Toxic Player

No matter how toxic I am I never get banned nor suspended nor even alerted. What a beautiful game to play for toxic trolls. Gotta love this halfassed report system <3

[No, I'm not a troll.. Gotta say it just in case]

I mean, it's nice that you've realized all of this but I seriously wonder how the toxic players in general don't realize all of these points. They're so obvious.

I am exclusively toxic when the toplaner goes 0-3, 0-4, 0-10... by mostly solo deaths. It cannot be my mistake that the toplaner neither can 1v1 lane nor understand that when he has died, the enemy is stronger than him

Finest Support1 votes

if it was obvious then nobody would be toxic , now think of this scenario you come home from school/work in a great mood and you start a ranked game .... you go bot lane and you or your support die 3 times in a row .... do you not wanna flame now??? happens to many people in many other different scenarios

No, I don't feel like flaming, to be honest.

If I die, especially one on one, I learn from it, or at least try to. I overestimated my/my allies strength and/or underestimated the enemy's strength, I deserve to fail from that. If someone else in my team dies, one on one, then it isn't really my problem. They were outplayed and hopefully they learn from it but, really, it's out of my control.

At the very least, flaming them is obviously not productive. I want to win and flaming is likely going to make them feel worse then perform worse.

This is the reason why I can never understand toxic players who claim that they want to win - since being toxic, and dragging down the performance of team members, is one way to lose.

watching pro players to get better at the game

I hope you don't mean the farce called LCS. Streamers, yes, but you ain't gonna learn shit watching LCS.

Finest Support1 votes

LCS is more team based than SOLO Q , all stats viewed in LCS are very hard to accomplish , you are right las won't teach you shit , therefore i mean solo q master or above streamers

it's really funny how some people want to self flagellate and others upvote the self-flagellation

?? admitting your wrong doings , negative thoughts is a great process to recovery , its really funny when someone needs to comment something negative in someone's post who has made an effort to change. So we should not applaud good behaviour????? Riot seems to think so.

what he actually did it's an attempt to seek for some kind of self-humiliating attention

As a player that immediately types /mute all when entering my ranked games I've learned that

  • commending your teammates is a lie, they do just as bad or just as well if you dont say anything at all, the opposite is true however, raging makes them perform poorly
  • your teammates are either good AI or really bad AI
  • ganks and objectives or teaming up is more effective when you ping
  • you spend less time trying to explain or process people's words and spend more time analyzing your own gameplay because the only feedback is from yourself.
  • you can rage and bitch all you want irl and dont be compelled to type it and at the end of most games if you did well you'll probably be honored by someone you called the most obscene insults at irl
  • if you type nothing in the game, Riot can't pin you on anything if you get a troll teammate that reports you, unless your in game action shows it
  • not replying is the absolute worst thing you can do to a raging trolling player, they wait for responses that will never come and they end up pissing off your teammates making them likely to get reported
  • you'll never get a death from "I was typing"
  • as a general rule, report every teammate just in case they were raging in game.

Things I have learned from being a bitch

  • let everyone know when you have any sort of FPS or ping issues that are unfair. Blatantly complaning does nothing but it feels good and you gotta let the enemy know so that you can imply that

Ima stop their. but it felt good to say.
