Find someone who isn't tanky and flash ult them.

If you're alone, find someone and flash ult them.

If an enemy champion is alive, press flash and R followed by randomly pushing buttons, and they will no longer be alive.

Press Q to guarentee a stun---> press more buttons. Even if vayne can E you before you get to her just chase her down, maximum she will run away. Annie is the least mechanically demanding ranged champion in the game, and I doublt the skill of anyone who have negative score with her.

DeathBurst1 votes

As I said for Garen above, knowing the strategy is especially important for Champions that are mechanically simple.

Annie's combo is easy, what's important is knowing when to use it. Try to guess where their carry will go (hint: farm minions) and try to ambush them on the path. Ward properly. Stay in the backline and don't enter team fights until you have a clear shot at their carry. Better wait 5-10 sec and one-shot their ADC than slinging your spells since the beginning to damage their Tanks, barely scratch them and die for nothing.

Also, it's important to CS properly and not feed in lane. It's not really hard, but you need to be very consistent, because if you are underfed and you cannot even assassinate their carries, you are not very useful.

Peel and stuns don't stop Garen's spinning; also, his silence will prevent self-peeling for a few seconds, making them use the peel for escaping. If they are just running away from you OR focusing you, then you have mastered Garen.

ok you team is Garen top (you) Xerath mid Caitlyn adc MonkeyKing jg Velkoz supp battling Amumu jgVayne adc Ezreal mid ( going blue not ap) Chogath top Taric supp they have allot of ways to make you useless and stop you before you even get there how would you get past that?

VictoryDance961 votes

Well, you definitely thought this one out. Amumu really can't do much about Garen because if you get into their enemy team sure he stuns you, but again, you keep spinning when stunned. This is also true for Garen. Cho'Gath has a silence, it is true, but as long as you don't feed him (which you really should not, unless you do nothing to him until level 6, in which case he starts to become unkillable), all he can do is knock you up. Ezreal is tough, and is tricky to kill with his kiting when he goes blue, but your Q should make you fast enough to catch up, as well as having a flash>q(silence)>e(spin)>ult = dead. Same thing for Vayne. Ignore Taric, he just builds armor and using your time to kill him means he is just giving your death to his teammates.

when they kill you it's a 4v5 and you team was all poke and your the only tank so fast lost for your team gj you lost your team the fight [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

But you do realize that to kill you they burned MOST, if not ALL of their abilities on you because you are a f***ing JUGGERNAUT? Poke or not, they will still be doing pretty potent damage.

Edit: Although I realize that you really don't have the best team comp there...

Just like with every non mobile champ. Walk toward them with your dead man's plate,I'm pretty sure Amumu won't waste his ult just on you, dodge Cho'Gath Q if you are not retarded or stunned by Taric,Vayne's knockback and Taric's spams are the only threats, mash buttons. If they waste all of their crap on you,you are still alive and watch your monkey dashing and spinning on their asses for free. You just won the teamfight by playing garen.

DeathBurst1 votes

Build lots of Move Speed. I usually go for Swiftness + Alacrity, Phage, Deadman's Plate. Not in that order, but in a full build that's 3 slots of my inventory giving me more Move Speed. I also suggest running at least 1 or 2 MS Quint.

In some very specific circumstances, replace Swiftness by Merc Treads for the Tenacity. And learn the good timing to use your Q to cleanse slow. People will want to use their slow just after you use your Q, so there is a bit of mind game there.

When you get more experience and precisely know your damage output, there is also the flash-Q-R surprise. Q's silence means they can't use their own flash to disengage.

TyroneWatermelon1 votes

{quoted}

what if tghey packing allot of self peel then you useless then what do you do?

You are not useless. 1.you are one of the tankiest champs, therefore you will get to them eventually. You still deal tons of dmg to 2.their frontline. 3.Dmp garen is almost unpeelable. 4.point and click executes every champ below 45% health,or below 60% of its squishy.

DeathBurst1 votes

That's a bit of an over-simplification, but yes, Garen is still relatively easy to master. His skills are point-and-click or aa-enhancers, there is nothing complex mechanically.

There are still a few subtleties:

  • optimal timing to use W to reduce the maximum amount of damage.
  • optimal use of your Q: at the beginning to silence them, or keep it in reserve to clean their slows?
  • not wasting your E: sure, stuns don't stop it, but if they can just walk out of range and then re-engage when it ends, it's not very useful.
  • optimal use of your ult: it's an execute, you want to use it as soon as it can kill them, but not before because it deals less damage.

And then of course, there are the stuff that is independent of any champions but that given the relative simplicity of Garen is especially important for him: when to split-push, when to group, how do you force objectives, etc. You won't make big flashy plays and win a team fight with your mechanics like a Vayne or a Fiora, so you need to keep the global strategy, the big picture, in mind.

picking him up, ok. but mastering him isnt as easy as you think. what he lacks in mechanical difficulty, makes up for the amount of decision making he requires.

VictoryDance961 votes

Your name implies that you are a Garen main or at least play him frequently. It would only make sense that you would seek to justify him on the boards (not trying to be rude or condescending, I would be the same way). But making good decisions has VERY LITTLE to do with the champion you play, but rather how you much skill you have in League of Legends.

what? decision making skills are what decides half the game.

the problem with garen is, if you dont have a very complex kit, it leaves a lot of room to fuck up. youcant kick your opponent 2 screens away when a fight doesnt go your way like lee sin can, or hop over a wall to get out. if youre out of position or chose a poor engage with him, youre screwed.

I don't know - certain champs are so easy that they don't really have a master level. Like Pantheon, garen, udyr - theres no real outplay going on there and you can still carry a game with them. I'd say Yi is probably the easiest champion to master because he has lots of ability to outplay but it is very easy.

1.to know how to play vs every champ you must first play vs every champ. 2.never running out of mana is being resource manage skilled,it has nothing to do with the champ. Learn not to spam whenever you can. When to teamfight? Are you retarded or you just mean "when to initiate"?

Mastering a champion means mastering all of the CHAMPIONS ability to do well in game. For example I am an Evelyn main, I know my damage output, what to do with my abilities, when I get my power pikes, how to abuse my advantage etc. However I don't know how to play versus EVERY champion in the game! Like sure I know that if they have Nasus I go and camp the shit out of top early until he becomes useless or if they have a Vayne/thresh bot lane I know to be careful and wait till they engage b4 going in so I don't get killed by myself etc, but champs like Yorick and Xinzhao do not make any sense to me yet I would still say that I have mastered eve. I believe that every champion has their own learning curve and although some champs (Garen and Annie) are easier than others (Riven, Vayne, Zed) they all have their own complexities. However the most important part is that they all require TIME to learn when to go in and how to team fight and how to play versus every champ in the game. So pretty much to answer your original question, if you have like 0 mechanical skill and have never played any champion who has some personal mechanic I would say Garen is the absolute hands down easiest champion to LEARN. His abilities are simple and he's a tank so even if you fuck up you should still be able to stay alive long enough to have a purpose. Once you get a few games on him (10-20) you should pretty much master his "mechanics" and damage output for the most part, then just learn your match ups and you have mastered a champion.

Zed also got a lot of outplay potential by pressing buttons. Any difference?

Xenomancers1 votes

Zed is actually pretty hard to play well. Probably one of the harder champs to master. Anyone can do okay with him though. He is all skill shots minus his ult. Ryze is just point and click domination - your are perm stuned and he auto hits with everything at short range while you can't move - if he gets fed he is a wall that you have to break - if you can't break it - the game is over.

No,only zed's q is a skillshot, his w doesn't really count and E is insta slash. Anyway he is braindead easy to play and master,I don't know who started this fake argument. He was however hard at his release, before they changed his ult to spawn a shadow at the cast location instead of behind the target.

Xenomancers1 votes

IMO all "non targeted" spells are skill shots...as in - they can miss if you don't use them skillfully. You can be just out of range with e and miss. It's fair to say that most zeds damage is coming from q e combo anyways and that is totally miss-able. I think that Zed is hard to play well and easy to play decently. OP was asking who is easy to play to the max of his abilities.

You can't really miss his W,it's just the direction you we pulling it off. E is unmissable if you are in range. I believe zed is medium to play decently,Easy to master

Nahui1 votes

You're dumb. You do understand what master is right? Master isn't winning in all situations. Master is playing to the best of a champions ability.

Annie is the easiest really to master. Her farming is incredibly easy, mana and cool down refund on killing Q, aoe wave clear if needed. She has point click stun. She has flash point click stun, flash aoe stun. There's nothing to master about Annie. She is a champion literally about pressing QWR and either they die or they don't.

Your team comp btw is Rigged. You picked a comp with incredible amount of CC and mobility vs a team with little CC and little mobility. That's like saying "Nasus vs Bard, how do you win?" No. You don't.

And with your situation, you are garen. You are mega tanky. If they kill you, your team will clean up. "But it's a 4v5". But then their cool downs and peel and cc are gone so then it'll be a 4v4. Then a 4v3. Then a 4v2. Then maybe a 3v2. Then a 3v1. Then an ACE. My team doesn't help, only poke. Then that's not a mastery issue. You're not designed to fight a 5v1. Mastery doesn't do that. You go in as a team and if amumu and everyone stun locks you, the rest of your team will come in. Or you'll lose. Either way, not a mastery issue. Mastery is playing a champion to its fullest potential.

Annie's fullest potential is dropping Lava Bear on a squishy and laughing. She doesn't have super mechanics, doesn't have complex combos. Vs anything immobile, use bear to stun. Vs ez or vayne, Q. I haven't seen Q miss yet. Once stunned, bear and W and maybe ignite. You've won. That's that. The best they can do is QSS but the wonderful thing about Tibbers is that he's instant cast.

And just like vayne can get QSS, you can get a pink ward. GG, there goes dodging. Annie is one of the simplest mechanical champions in the game and mastering her is simply a matter of how well you can farm with her Q.

Warwick

Noob-friendly kit with only point and click, sustain to help if you make a mistake, point and click hard CC, straightforward kit.

Someone who can't play him effectively after 10 games or so is doing poorly out of a lack of general game knowledge; nothing about this specific champion is very difficult.

charcharmunro1 votes

Warwick is just straight-up the easiest character. He effectively only has two "real" abilities, and only one is on any significant amount of a cooldown and there's... Not too much decision on when to use it.
