Zilean skillshot ping reliant?

I've been reading in other sources that Zileans skillshot in particular becomes hard to land at moderate (80-90) to high ping.

From all 10+ people who have played Zilean post 5.4 at various ping levels, can you confirm whether this is the case? Because if so I think Riot should adjust Zilean so that he's actually playable at a wider ping range.

In my experience I keep barely missing my bombs on everyone, though I'm slowly improving. I think that if my ping was just a bit better (its at 90) i would be able to land bombs much easier, but as it stands that isnt likely to happen.

Anyone else having issues?

90 is moderate ping? i'd kill for moderate ping._.

It feels harder to dodge than most other skillshots at 90~ ping, but that might just be that I'm still not used to its hitbox. It's pretty easy to land at 90~ ping, though.

I don't think its ping i think its just the prioritization on how it chooses targets to latch on to.

imho his q is really bad atm. I was playing against one as xerath and I did not get hit with 1 q the entire laning phase. I am usually horrible at dodging skill shot (i frequently get stunned by new veigar and I eat nidalee spears for breakfast) but I could walk out of every q that was throw directly on me and I had plenty of time to double back if he tried to lead me.

(I play with 90-120 ping typically if that matters at all)

I have not been having trouble landing it anymore than a regular skillshot. I play at between 80-100 ping, and I can land it pretty reliably, though I miss sometimes (that's part of a skillshot, though. They exist to reduce reliability)

All in all, I consider it a successful skill.

I sit at 90-105 ping depending on a lot of factors, but I don't have an issue hitting or dodging it. It feels fine to me.

East coast ping problems reporting in. Nah its seems to be ok. The prioritizing could be a bit better on it
