Lets talk about Warwick

Ok, so in almost all my games there has been a Warwick unless it was draft and i banned him. He is the same every single game, slaughtering everyone with the ease of two massive leaps, a GLOBAL SPEED BUFF if an enemy is low ANYWHERE on the map, massive healing, his Q is immune to CC as he is jumping, he fears EVERYTHING in a pretty decent range (bigger than Jax's stun aoe, roughly the size of Zilean's double bomb on one target stun) which makes him gain damage reduction............ ill admit, its not like Jax's immune to all on hits, or yasuo's all ranged objects get poofed into oblivion...... but add that to the fact that he also deals some heavy damage while healing himself just by his passive alone. Oh and did anyone mention his Q deals damage based on an enemies MAXIMUM HEALTH %? and heals for the damage done? while being immune to cc? while being able to leap in like that with his W going so he can just fear an entire team and slaughter whoever he wants and get out before anyone can do anything about it?

I fail to see how he could even be considered balanced. These are pretty much the reasons why everyone is playing him now too, because there is no way to stop him at all if he gets even a little bit ahead and doesnt get overconfident and die cause your team had a vayne who was some kind of vayne god and dodged warwicks ulti and wasnt feared and stayed back until the warwick fell into a trap.......

How about remove the CC immunity from his Q, that gives outplay potential.

He doesnt need triple healing from his passive when below 25%, keep it at the regular when he gets below 50%.

If your going to have a "maximum health %" for his q, if the cc immunity is removed and he is still over powered, which could still be the case..... Perhaps tone back the healing from that. Perhaps half healing? something.

And reduce the size of that Warwick fear. Or atleast put it on a longer cooldown.

Currently his sustain is way too high, with speed, damage reduce, maximum health damage, cc immunity lunges, and that suppression lasts longer than the Great Depression......... so i suppose that makes it the Great Suppression? Yes i know Malzahar has similar, but he doesnt have super sonic speed, with excellent sustain..... probably the best in the game hands down.

Please. I beg of you. This guy needs a nerf hammer more than any other champion did on creation or rework.

To be honest, his sustain is the only thing that annoys me about this new Warwick. I don't have that much trouble dueling him with my main champions but that sustain has made me lose many duels with him when I had him and he heals a fuck tonne in the nick of time to avoid dying and get in that extra spell or auto that finally kills me.

Also, the first time I played this new Warwick, I fed my ass off. He didn't feel broken at all. In contrast, I got fed my second game playing Fiora. She is the definition of a broken champ.

And yet Fiora is a champion i still havent gotten the hang of after atleast 10 games with her, perhaps she is more like a champion that you play?

And as for the first time playing new warwick, yes, it does take a little bit of practice if your not used to that style of play, also it depends on the enemy champions and how well they played. He CAAAN be easily taken down if played right, but he is right now the super sonic speed king of juggernauts atm.

Yep he is over tuned not surprised at all , hopefully more threads will come through and the statistics will start to add up , he is popular rn because he is un killable when ahead right on the money there. Unfortunetly there are lots of Warwick players now soo they will try to defend their temporary freelo.

I wouldnt go as far as freelo, but yeah, he is way overtuned. There is next to no downside to Warwick because any flaw that could be exploited is easily gotten rid of and buried under the dirt. Hard time hitting ulti? Dont worry! Q lunge locks on and is immune to any cc. At that point just press R when you feel comfortable that youll hit with this decent sized hitbox. Also procs Poppy's W block of leaps, giving free access to Poppy with his Ultimate which could have been blocked by it.

Healing too low for your tastes? Grab visage and bump that healing up from a 9 to a 20 on a scale from one to 10.

Warwick thrives in a game where his teammates are already winning: a game where there are lots of low health targets to chase down. The old Warwick would kick the new Warwick's butt. It was an overall nerf. The adjustments were made with the idea to make Warwick more user friendly for new junglers, but the reality is that his W passive is now a noob trap for new junglers. New junglers are going to be inclined to follow those bloodtrails when they shouldn't and end up feeding more than they should.

Warwick may feel strong to players who play against him, because Warwick is snowballing a game his team already won for him - not because Warwick is getting an edge for his team by being too strong. I think that the fact that Warwick feels stronger than he is is why the developers undertuned him (and why they are hesitant to buff him) and why Warwick has a low winrate overall.

Heres the thing, just because an ally is low does not mean they are losing. They could be not wanting to back yet because they are getting free gold from being under the tower, they could have just been in a fight and won but have low health, which makes Warwick's job so much easier to run from bott lane to top in half the time of any other jungler easily apart from reksai who would need their ultimate (seeing as none besides MABEY sion can speed boost all the way to top lane from bottom lane and that would require his ultimate) his speed boost is just passively gained. Not even an active ability that he gets the boost, its just passive when an enemy is low. That puts your entire team at risk just because someone on the other side of the map is "greedy and wanting farm instead of healing back up so warwick doesnt have super speed".

As for following the bloodtrails.... who needs to follow those? he pops that W and speed boosts to whatever lane he pleases. Or if an enemy is low, he just right clicks to whatever lane he pleases.

Old warwick's R would be countered by for 1, good timing of new warwick's Q. For 2, it would be countered by new warwick's E. Only thing old warwick has that new warwick does not is the attack speed boost for the team. Otherwise it was an overall improvement. His speed boost is now global, his healing is better than ever, his Q is a leap that is unblockable and undodgeable apart from zhonyas, which is far better than old warwick needing to run up to them and Q. His Ultimate has a longer range, but yes is a skill shot, but that is mitigated almost entirely by just using his Q first, which can easily be faked and be his ultimate because they look so similar...... oh yes and did anyone mention that he can bring his fear and just jump at someone to fear them almost instantly and THEN use his ultimate for a good 3-4 seconds of being unable to move with next to no counterplay apart from cleanse and quicksilver sash and mecurial scimitar? Heck, even Malzahar would have his passive knocked down by the Q, which then he has until that expires to use his entire combo before that shield wears off because as soon as it wears off (which then still has warwick in fear range if the Malzahar doesnt flash) he will be knocked out of that ultimate by fear, or be unable to finish his combo until after warwick's CC control is down, all of which HE is dealing damage to you, and warwick's ally or allies are taking 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, how many more countings of free shots will that ally be able to do, often times adding their own CC into the mix, before that malzahar would be able to move freely at all? Chances are they would be dead by that point in time unless they were sitting under the tower when the warwick went in. Then it depends on if the warwick went full tank or not, because he would be able to out sustain the turret no problems.

Warwick FEELS strong because he IS strong right now. His team mates only need to get the enemy low for him to shine. They can be losing lane like crazy but just get the enemy thresh, or braum, or leona, or any other non self healing support low...... and he has a speed boost for a good portion of 10 minutes. That is crucial in early game especially. Faster jungle clear, because he has no problems clearing that jungle, just getting to the camps. Easier ganking, having 20-50% more speed than anyone else in the game dramatically helps with that. Etc.

Explain to me how none of my points are valid here, apart from newbies who are no duh going to be using warwick because hes practically a free jungler for newbies at 450 ip, add that to hes a hextech wolf which people find awesome, and he was just visually and skill wise completely overhauled. New warwick has a lower win rate for now because of so many newbies and people are still getting used to the patterns of him. Higher ranked players have easier times because their entire team has the reaction time to deal with the warwick's combos which is much easier than learning how to DO the combos. Lower ranking ones need their entire team to be able to deal with the warwick, not just one. (yes, even if that one is yasuo, shocking isnt it?) Newbies still are working on overall mechanics, heck, after a couple years (i started around when the Get Jinxed video was going on the login) i am still working on mechanics. But as i said before, KNOWING how to do them is different than actually doing them, and if you know how to counter it, it makes someone-who-doesnt-know-how-to-do-it's life much harder.

I will be waiting for your counterarguement if you have one. I am willing to be open minded about him not being so OP persay, as i said before he is not Freelo, he does have some saving graces, but overall I believe he is still way overtuned and you will see that more and more as people get more skilled with him. I am already seeing it because i am lower ranked and do not always have the best of teams, and i do not always play perfect myself, but there is way too many things going FOR warwick with very little against him from what i can see.

I would say his win rate went up as players learned to play the new Warwick sure and there isn't necessarily anything wrong in what you said, but the question as to who would win Old Warwick vs new Warwick, to me it isn't even a question. Old Warwick kicks new Warwick's butt hands down. Lot's of stuff changed and maybe the new Warwick is more useful in games, maybe not. But old Warwick vs new Warwick?

Movespeed is overrated (like Cloud Drake). Healing is only below half health (who wants to start fights at half health). Attack speed buff only against low health targets (do you really need attack speed if your target is almost dead anyways). Ult range increase is unnecessary, was always able to get in range with the old ult when needed.

What did he get? A fancy Q and the ability to fear. Fancy Q is meh. Ability to fear is really nice. Does it make up for his lost power in other areas? I don't think so.

The thing new Warwick has going for him is the ability to join fights quickly when they start, but he's actually less of a beast to deal with than he was.

Personally I think after several games of him that he's fine, he's far from meta and far from overtuned or overpowered and #insertbuzzwordhere.

Warwick suffers the same problems that his pre work iteration suffered, he's incredibly easy to kite except now on top of that his ult is a skillshot.

Warwick is fine and far from Freelo.

Incredibly easy to kite........ so extra speed which is GLOBAL now i will reiterate..... when an enemy is low, which does not mean his team is losing, just means they are getting ready for a bait and dont want to back and lose farm and gold.... which lets him get from bott to top in half the time any other jungler would take easily....., with a fairly large fear radius, which lets him easily get 2-3 free shots on you unless you have quicksilver sash/mecurial scimitar, before that however he takes reduced damage..... Add that to his Q which is a lock on ability that leaps him to the targets location, which still does damage if you move similar to Jax's leap....... which does Maximum Health damage that heals him all while being immune to cc during that jump...... That also puts him incredibly close to the target that makes it REALLY easy to hit that "skill shot" of an ultimate...... that ALSO to top that entire Q thing off, looks almost exactly like the ultimate so you never know if he is using the Q or the ultimate first so you never know when to use your CC.... Along with to top THAT all off, his auto attacks deal bonus damage that TRIPLES when he gets below 25% (which is still easily 1000 hp since most warwicks are going tanky anyways since who needs damage when devourer mixed with his passive shreds 2-3 people easily by itself tanky or not, but can still get the same result with cinderhulk with more tankiness....) which is boosted even more by Spirit Visage......

Oh wait, where was i going with this? Oh yeah, hes "incredibly easy to kite" right now. Which atleast the previous warwick could only speed boost when an enemy was below 50% hp, and now he can do it any time because he just presses W and whatever the closest enemy is on the map, he gets a speed boost for...... Only saving grace about that whole ordeal is if that mark goes on someone whos not low hp and is not the mid laner, your allies know where hes closer to...... but who cares? he goes and pops that and rushes to the other lane then.

Ill agree hes not freelo, he does have SOME saving graces in his abilities, but overall he is still way overtuned.
