Why is Lee Sin considered strong?

So, I'm actually writing a persuasive essay for an assignment for my ELA Class, and the teacher allowed you to choose any topic you want. Of course, being Boompenguins, I decided to choose

> Lee Sin is the strongest jungle pick for Season 7 in League of Legends

Does anyone have any hard statistics to show why he is strong, or have explainations on why I guess.

(I dont need you to write my essay, just say like "You can see his base stats here, which compares them to other top tier junglers, and it shows that Lee is significantly stronger". Or maybe "Lee's ult in teamfights or for picks is really strong somethingsomething").

I have a few ideas, but I don't have any concrete statistics, and maybe you guys have things that I missed when I was looking.

Ivern is currently the strongest jungler in the game.

LeeSin has an overloaded kit giving the illusion of being op.

People are more upset about the ward hopping than the stats.

Some people have argued that his Q does too much execute damage to champions early in the game.

Others have claimed that he has too many abilities pre-6, but that's too core to his kit, I don't see it changing anytime soon.

I'm not sure what else can be said.

He is strong because he can 1) do anything he wants early game because basically no one is gonna duel or catch him and 2) get away with almost anything mid-late game because of his mobility and cc on ult.

Statistics... I mean.. theres gotta be a reason he has over 60% pick/ban rate in diamond+ and around 75% in Korea and that reason surely isnt "he is fun to play" lol.
