Why not allow Merc to cleanse before the CC hits?

Then it'll allow people to still get out of say Zed ult or Vi ult but it won't be as easy as to just buy QSS to negate all of their CC.

I'm saying that you used to be able to and it was taken away due to how useful and cheap the item was.

So basically, Edge of Night is OP and you want a version that lets you charge the shield instantly instead of delayed?

Never said that? 1. I don't think EoN was out when I posted this 2. I'm suggesting the upgraded version of qss be able to cleanse animations that'll lead to cc or other stuff (Morde ult, zed ult mark, vi ult). Basically what the old qss did

Haha, someone posted on an old thread and brought it to recent - sorry, I didn't realize this was 3 months old.

BTW did old QSS ever cleanse Vi ult? I don't think it did (unlike Zed ult which put a debuff on you so you could remove the debuff, Vi ult doesn't put any debuff on you so I'm pretty sure there'd be nothing for QSS to remove).
