I don't understand Ivern's syngergies

In the champion reveal, they say Ivern works well with Rengar. They're both junglers, so my question is that are they expecting players to play Ivern alot in other roles?

I don't think they care what role. But portable bushes for Rengar.

People forget that Rengar can still function effectively in the top lane. While he's not meta by any means, if he's allowed to use the bushes in lane effectively, then he can bully pretty hard. Against people who can't really retaliate to his burst and punish him for his aggression, they really have no means of dealing with him other than letting him push the wave.

iverns synergy is with juggernauts like Darius Illaoi Nautilus Nasus as he provides a means of them to get up close.
