2017 - Still No Voice Chat?
Yawn.
EDIT: Don't give me that "toxic community" BS. If you're too weak mentally, you can disable it.

Knowing riot it will be 2020 before it comes XD
They said they would implement it and got massive backlash from the reddit community so killed the project
Hey memester. You know why overwatch has built in voice chat? Its pay to play. Hey memester. You know DotA 2 has built in voice chat? Its a bunch of shit heads with bad mics screaming at someone. Hey memester. You know why league of legends doesnt have built in voice chat? Because the community is even more toxic than DotA 2 and riot has 0 systems in place to moderate voice chat.
Hey memester. You know what riot needs first? A good player moderation system. I think there was this wierd thing called "the tribunal" where groups of people volunteered to do a lot of the more simple moderation that needed to be dealt with by a human being. Man, that sounds almost perfect! Let the players moderate themselves and riot hardly has to do a thing besides SET UP THE SYSTEM!
I already /mute all everyone immediately when the game starts anyway and turn the volume off on pings so I can focus on my game without being tilted by inevitable raging/flaming, bad calls, raging "?" pings, and etc.
no thanks
Stop asking for voice chat they don't care about team play and that voice is vital for teamplay in every multiplayer game.
They only care about selling more skins get the point already.
There are easy ways to use voice chat in game. Discord, Curse (now the twitch app), Teamspeak, Mumble. Take your pick. They are all free and can be used without giving any real life info. Back when curse was popular, I could usually get at least 2 random people on my team to join a call. Make some friends and invite them to chat if you want voice chat.
