Hello sliver Yasuo main here. Say what you like about me and my rank but know this. If there's atleast one thing i know about this game it would be Yasuo.

Currently, both Yasuo's scaling and snowballing has been hit hard with the crit changes. Making games where you are fed on Yasuo feel weak and really short lived. While games where you are behind on Yasuo feel like you are climbing a mountain with no legs. Rito has noticed this tried to put some power back in to Yasuo. But the buff the planned to give Yasuo was too crazy. Buff: Last breath, 200/300/400 (150% bonus ad) < 200/300/400 (250% bonus ad).

If riot wants to help Yasuo. A buff that would help in my mind should go a little like this.

Buff: Q: steel tempest, stacks of gathering wind should go from 6 seconds all ranks to. 6/7/8/9/10 with every rank in the ability.

I don't really see how increasing Q stack duration into the mid/late game would be necessary - you'd already get multiple chances to land a Q once you have the standard Phantom Dancer and Berserker's Greaves built, from "If you miss one Q you'll reset" to "You have time to miss 2 Qs in a row before your stacks reset". Increasing stack duration later in the game would mean giving even more chances to miss the Q for free without losing stacks than you already get.

The idea comes from a nerf riot did last season to yasuo. It was about how yasuo had to many options play with his Tornados. Giving back some of the original q stack time will give yasuo back some of that power without number changes. Since thats alittle dangerous for yasuo.

I know he was nerved, and thankfully so. Previously, Yasuos could just get a tornado and hold it for way too long, forcing the enemy to back off an extreme amount because of the pressure that gives, in particular post level 6, considering that Yasuo can always just dash for miles by chaining Es on minions; if you, as the midlaner against Yasuo, were in a position where getting hit with the tornado would be certain death, would have to walk very far from the waves, only because Yasuo has the tornado available, possibly outside of EXP range too. Without Yasuo really having to step forward, just with the mere possibility that he could.

Apparently you don't know Yasuo...because he's more than fine right now and might get tapped for a nerf in the coming future if he keeps trending upward.

Yasuo is perfectly fine. The reason why you feel that yasuo is weak is because since you are a yasuo player. You feel like picking yasuo every game even if there are not knockups and you complain about it. Yasuo is supposed to be a team oriented champion. The problems lays on yasuo mains wanting to play yasuo in every game even when its not favorable.
