I no longer play this game. I had a very long list of reasons for why I left and don't want to air them out here so that I don't influence anyone's personal opinion. I made the thread because I heard about how drastically the game has been getting changed lately and there are a lot of strong opinions about it. I wanted to see a number to go along with people's opinions so I made a poll too.
Riot balance team still has yet to revert the Sona nerfs ever since the Ardent disaster. Theyre fine with this of course because nobody cares about her nerfs.
I left a long time ago. The bought a brand new lap top and the client just wouldn't play nice with me. It would wouldn't recognize my inputs so I would be left frozen and unable to cast abilities and other times it would just randomly close itself out and reopen in windowed mode for no particular reason. I complained about it and I got no response or explanation. The game was unplayable at that point.
Before that though, I hated playing the game. I hated all the changes they kept making. I hated how they kept shoving all those esports ads in my face and simultaneously ignore any balance complaints that were made about the game. They still never solved the bot account issue they have had for over four years now. But I stayed because I had already invested so much time into it. Frankly, it was a blessing that it no longer played nicely with my new laptop. I get less frustrated at my steam games than I ever did with League of Legends.
Mostly, yes. There a couple things that are irritating right now (hate what they did to Essence Reaver and how ADCs basically have to build Stormrazor first or they suck), but overall I’m content.
Just posting now to bump this thread and get a larger sample size.
