There are two kinds of champions. One kind that gets riddiculous powerspike and tons of damage from trinity force. And other kind that won't and it is average item with good stats, and passive for them.

It´s unique passive of spell blade deals more damage the higher your base AD is. And if I remember correctly Annie doesn’t have a lot of base AD. In my opinion trinity is a very ineffective item for Annie, the AS doesn’t help her that much, The AD from it also doesn´t help her outside of her auto attacks, the health is kinda helpful for staying alive, the mana and CDR from it it helpful for a mage like Annie but the full item gives very little to help annie´s kit. It gives zero AP to help with her abilities, if you want a good spellblade item for Annie then I would recommend taking Lichbane, you get AP to help with your abilities, CDR and mana, some MS too, and the spellblade proc from lichbane actually deals more damage than trinity if you have a bunch of AP.
