[BALANCE] Heimerdinger mechanics
Well, I just got out of a game against a Heimerdinger and noticed a couple things that doesn't make any sense to me.
Issue number one: turrets vs turrets For this issue, I noticed that upon receiving damage from a Heimerdinger placed turret under my own, my allied turret decided to focus its aggro towards it, instead of Heimerdinger. I feel that since Heimerdinger is the champion responsible for the damage, he should be the one focused by my allied turret. A shaco clone will not get focused by a turret in a dive, so there's an immediate lack of consistensy.
Issue number two: Turrets proc Luden's Echo. Yes. From a deceased Heimerdinger to a Heimerdinger that just left turret range to go back to base, the Heimerdinger placed turrets proc Luden's Echo. Ludens echo should only proc from champion-casted spells. If you're going to treat the Heimerdinger-placed turrets as "champions" to take aggro from an allied turret on a dive, then turrets need to hold a ludens echo in their inventory if their spells hit a champ. Heimerdinger isn't casting anything, so why reward him as if he did?
Issue number three: Turrets stay active after Heimerdinger death Now, I understand this came from way back after Heimerdinger's rework, but it still leaves me scratching my head why this is implemented. The strategy to a good heimer kill is a quick burst to knock him out so his turrets are worthless. They should not be allowed to keep firing for X amount of time after Heimerdinger's death. As well as leaving range.
Obviously, issue number three is probably just going to get red, and I really hope it doesn't derail this discussion, but I never really post discussions in the forums so I just wanted to get it off my chest while I was here.
Anyone else see the flaws in this? I did a lot of consideration in this and I dont feel like a low skill level is the answer to this.
