Is Fizz worthwhile? Please Read

Hey so due to the new item coming out and in general him being viewed negatively right now, my main Zed is not something I can rely on to pick mid. So, I've been going over a list of mages and assassins and I've come down to:

Cassiopeia Ahri Viktor Lux Fizz LeBlanc Talon Diana

I can play all of those champions well besides LeBlanc, Fizz and Ahri. Now I know all of those have their pros and cons, it's not a debate on who up there is the best, but rather if Fizz is currently a good champion to pick up and worthwhile to learn? Is this current meta sort of in his favor, barring the fact that AP itemization got shit on? I don't really want to hear about any of the other champs up there, but just to see if Fizz himself is still good or have nerfs to him weakened the good ole troll pole we love to hate.

his outfit is freakin swag monster and he has a tape-on-beard. also his ult is a freakin seal thing that makes the most swagstep sound.

its your opinion though.

I like fisherman cus its playful and matches his personality. For silly people Cottontail is also playful but more. Demonic xD

why not just play Talon? new AD item is really good on him as he AA's between spells and he has a low play rate, no fear of getting banned most of the time.

He's fun, but he's too All or Nothing. He jumps on the target and either they die or I die. Fizz can make plays, has much more defensive capability, and is far more mobile. He just seems more fun then Talon.

Also, when I play Talon, 3-4/5 of the enemy keep a pink in their inventory. There's no -direct- counter to Fizz, item wise, the closest being Zhonya's or QSS if timed correctly. Zhonya's armor doesn't hurt my damage and QSS will only work if timed very properly.

But, he is a great AD assassin that I will play in certain match ups if I don't want Zed/isn't ideal. He's definitely awesome, but I'm looking for some magic damage.

Everyone hates fizz...

Thise nerfs turned out to be hidden buffs also opened up bruiser fizz.

Fizz is fine atm and even the nerf bat is dodged by troll pole

Fizz is, and always will be, a bitch to play against in a lot of situations. He's fine right now but people still hate him. I say go for it.

No he is not. You will not get a good night's rest knowing you play a cancerous plague like Fizz to win games. People should be jailed for playing Fizz.
