Preseason opinion/personal view. Feedback welcomed!
I never post on boards, but this preseason has me feeling some type of way. Like most, I feel like games are moving incredibly too fast, and when you are behind it is absolutely a terrible time trying to catch up. Today, for instance, I had a game that we were behind in, and the new minion system and everything just made everything such a pain in the butt to control. I feel like we could not do anything due to the fact that minions were solely forcing us to back and protect out towers over and over. Eventually, we won the game however. But, it was one of the hardest games I have ever had to play, and I did not enjoy it. Before, if you were behind, you could still catch up due to better rotations and defense, and i thoroughly enjoyed this because it made league a strategy game rather than what I feel like it is now, which is a big Team Deathmatch. I do not want to play team deathmatch. It is incredibly easy to win when you are ahead now and it just encourages players to keep facerolling the opponent because they cannot do a thing to stop it. The game is now stomp or be stomped. There are some games where it may be close, don't get me wrong, but overall it is such a one-sided game it is not a concept that I fell in love with and played countless hours on. Some say change is good, but too much can take away the original value that the thing brought with it. Thanks for reading.
