I've come to the conclusion that you can not carry yourself out of low elo with champs that can't 1v9. Doesn't matter how well you play on ziggs coz ziggs is a poke champ and if your team is shit it doesn't matter. Only way to get out of Elo hell is through hyper carry 1v9 champs
Instead of blaming your choice of champion, have you considered that you're at the elo you belong in? I can assure you if you gave bjergsen or faker ziggs and threw them in gold, they would get out of it pretty quickly.
My adventures in bronze on another (as a plat level player) remind me that while I can't win every game, I can win most of them regardless of my pick since everyone is clueless.
Just don't die and split push all day. You don't even need a good champ for the task since people don't know the minimap exists until gold-ish. (If you're support, get a zzrot and that'll do the trick for you as you babysit whoever the least bad player is.)
IMO I don't think Ziggs is a carry champion. He does a lot of damage but is easily killed against assassins. I used to main Ziggs a while ago and honestly, he's just a poke champion. I would recommend Olaf, Rengar, Mundo, Kennen for carry champs. But to be perfectly honest, after the beginning of S6, League balanced the game so that it's more of a team game and is much harder for champions to 1v4 now.
I've carried myself out of bronze and silver multiple times with tanks, ADCs and supports. If I can do it so can you.
