Rank 2019 - Feedback/Suggestion

Hello @Riot,

Can you please in addition to the new Rank system, you make so that we can only be matched with players of the same Rank group as or own?

What I mean is, if I'm Plat you make sure that the matchmaking only put Plat players on my team and on the opponent team.

Example: If I'm Plat 4, my team should consist only of players from Plat 4 to Plat 1.

I know you can argue that there's players from a Rank lower that can have similar mmr or so, but I strongly believe that this takes away part of the joy of climbing from one Rank to another.

A player that climbed out of silver into gold would be more satisfied if on his next game he have a team full of Gold players, rather than the same Silver players that he's sick of.

Another argument you can use is that by putting this filter you may create an unbalanced match since as a Gold 1 player you'll be forced to play with/against players from the same tier or lower. My response is that 1st this already happens a lot, nowadays just worst, cause you can be Gold1 and have a Silver 5 on your team, and 2nd I believe your matchmaking would simply try to even out the mmr and would simply put another Gold1 on the enemy team, or put 2 or more Gold2.

And the last argument you could use is that, this would mess it out the duo system. My response is that either you make so that you can only duo with players of the same division you're in. OR you just take out the duo system from SoloQ because they can just go and play FlexQ.
