Riot Bard is a crappy support. Yeah the Q is awesome because it stuns enemies but the rest of the moves are crappy. Seriously Riot give Bard an upgrade. Keep magical journey because that is awesome. Apart from that give bard moves that can literally
hurt people apart from q. At least give him a better finisher. This champ looks great but his moves is stupid. Give him a better finisher Riot please.
RainXBlade3 votesIn all honesty, Bard is derpy, both in context and theme, but a good Bard is very frustrating to face. I've laned with good Bard supports and I can tell you, he's no pushover of a support.
KingWill071 votesBard is unique and fun but he is not Op which is ok. But then he is not the best support ever he is just a normal fun support. Kled is a fun Champion and a OP champion as well. Im asking RIOT to make Bard a fun suport for you guys and i to enjoy. I realize that Riot has done that because they created Rakan. Once Rakan is released Bard is done for. Again KLED is fun, funny and awesome to play. SHACO is fun and Awesome to play. All champs is fun and awesome to play even singed who just runs around but people find him fun.

nanogibbon2 votesAs a bard main, I like that I can build for speed and durability (I don't rush redemption), and feel pretty comfortable running around the enemy jungle alone, knowing that against most enemy comps I can escape pretty much any situation. If I catch someone vulnerable (and I've been doing ok on my chimes), I can usually take them out, and can do ok even in a 1v2 situation thanks to Q.
Seriously, I'll often end up in situations where I'm successfully dueling a lucien, vayne, or late-game gangplank, and if anything feel like bard does TOO MUCH damage.
Just remember that ult abilities aren't always about hurting the opponent directly, and that's fine. If you want an explosive "finisher" ult, there are lots of options.
Magical Zoe2 votesYou are sorely mistaken...Bard is an amazing support, but yea he sucks if you can't utilize his full kit. There is literally nothing wrong with him, he's great in higher elo but lower elo players can't use him correctly.
KingWill071 votesBard is a good champion. But he is hopeless if his teammates are not with him. Look at BraWn or any other sup. I played Tahm kench and Brawn in top lane and win games. Bard cant even go one on one against a champ with the same level as him.

Bard finisher is just a long range zonia if that's how it is spelled. I'm saying is Q ability is good and Magical journey is awesome but his finisher is WACK. For all who like Bard I can say is finisher is WACK AF. He is a cool Champion again and i wont take that from him but is crappy finisher is WACK.

Bard can only set kills for his team but when he wanders of and he is stuck in a trap wher he cant get out of he is food.
Aptest1 votesyes but on the upshot bard has a much easier time getting out of said trap than Prawn or Take-awaKe. These guys have to trod all the way back to their team and hope they are swol enough whereas Brad jukes and jives and generally can outplay trappers or pursuers.

And the ult is pretty amazing, though it can be tough to use well. Its flexibility and the creativity it allows more than make up for the fact that it doesn't do damage.
Lulu, Soraka, Taric, Sivir (I guess) etc. also have useful ults that do no direct damage. If every ult was just about hurting opponents, the game would be less interesting.

Bard is only fun to play as a champ but he is not better than kench or brawn. he is just a normal suport. Heck we gonna get rakan soon and he is gonna kick brawn players out of first place making him the best supports too.

New champ Rakan is coming and I havent even played him yet and he is better than Bard. You can keep magical journey to escape but rakan ability can make him go over walls to escape as well. Thresh is also a good support.
