Yooo what happened to match making?! I swear everything has become less and less stable in the last month. All my friends and I, whether separate or together, are experiencing massively exploitative match making. Typically one team has plat and diamond players while the other has bronze-gold 4 or totally unranked players and it's a total coin flip every time - This happening across all elo's and all accounts. Any reasoning behind this?

Latest examples: bronze 2 and, somehow, that same level 33 on our team vs a team of golds level 33 and a silver on our team vs Gold's+ Diamond.

I'm typically match made in gold 1, so silver 1 - plat 1 makes sense but why is either team getting anyone below silver 1, especially bronze or non smurf new accounts?

Normals don't care about what rank you are as ques are independent of eachother. They are by design not made to be strictly competitive and cater to a more casual crowed.

The Diamond Kha for example is playing with his friend the Silver 2 WW. This would not be allowed as a premade in ranked duo, it is allowed for normal.

As its preseason a lot of players are going to be learning in normal, many of them are folks who don't regularly play normals. Expect chaos.
