How does the lp system work

RyzeRework··2 votes·469 views

i win a couple games in a row and lose some and i get like outrageously different numbers? i won a game and got 24 lp then won another one after that and got 16 lp and when i lose i get 16 lp so how does this system actually work? does it just randomly give you a number between 16-24 because this isnt within weeks no this lp difference is daily for me im gold 5 with 88 lp atm

its based on your elo, if they game thinks your better than where your currently ranked you will get much more for a win than a loss, if they game thinks your ranked too high then you will get lose more than u get for a win
