what do you think of Darius?

I know after the juggernaut reworks everyone complained and constantly banned all the juggernauts, including Darius. But if I recall correctly, Darius was pretty much the only one that didn't see staggering nerfs afterwards, and yet still fell out of popularity.

Just basically want to know a few things.

1: Am I wrong and did he actually get nerfed a lot?

and 2: If not, then why does it seem like people don't care about him anymore? He is no longer a common ban.

disclaimer - I am not one of the people that hates Darius. In fact, I love playing him. I think he's super fun but honestly not that good of a champion, at least in many circumstances. I think people mostly hate him simply because they don't understand how to fight him or exploit his weaknesses, because he's one of those champions that has extremely strong strengths but extremely vulnerable weaknesses.
