He is extremely oppressive. He doesn't get a ton of kills but he shuts down Junglers and can gank very well.

um, no he isn't. his damage and survivability and escapes are extremely low pre-level 6 and even when you get daisy she can be kited extremely easily. Please stop spreading bullshit misinformation, thanks.

Nat my fault you are just a bad Ivern player. He maintained one of the top 3 winrates in jungle from release to pre-release. He can sit a little low for a while.

I really don't know, he's still sub par...no buffs

Ivern is a volatile champion. On the surface, his contributions to the game are a little difficult to track due to how much utility and support he offers to the game. It's not quantifiable like damage taken or given, or kills achieved, nor is it indicated by any specific stats. This is why he's difficult to buff. It's hard to see without intensive, long range testing how buffing pure utility will swing him, so that's why any changes to him are slow and meticulous.

The only two keystone runes I found to be, and I use this loosely, “okay” on him are Phase Rush and Guardian. I prefer Phase Rush because you can pick that and every logical movement speed runs from Sorcery and Inspiration so that you get decent potential to gank. I tried to make boots and other speed items like deadman’s plate and so on but they aren’t even remotely close enough by themselves.

He does decently in prolonged fights but so much of the time people just walk away and it’s the most frustrating feeling.

In MY experience, the games I play him in, the problem of GETTING to anyone on time as well as STAYING on them means I need as much help as I can get, especially with all the slows, leaps, dashes, etc. Have to cut cheesy escape duration where I can.

Clue me in on to why Aery and Comet aren't good on him? Comet is stellar when combined with his Q, and Aery is just supplemental to his offense and his supporting of his allies. Both of these runes will work well on him to give him a little more poke. He also pairs very nicely with the Sorcery tree in general, from things like Manaflow Band, Ultimate Hat, and Transcendence.

he is being played competively

51% winrate... don't see why they would specifically look to buff him instead of looking to make a keystone that he can use more effectively

49% on opgg

and that is still a decent enough winrate for a champion that is so reliant on teammates in SoloQ

play a 100 games as Ivern and tell me about his win rate then. Oh wait you won't do that because he's not Kha'zix Or Xin Zhao, he's not overpowered as fuck.

if i played jungle i would play Ivern no problem. Sorry but if your only reason to want to have him be buffed is just because you want him to be OP then you have no actual argument or reason to buff him
