Through a combination of the low range, damage nerfs and cd nerfs, Lucian averages less damage dealt than adc's like sivir and ashe who's whole identity is to be a UTILITY adc. I just think Lucian could use some love
Powderkegg3 votesDespite obvious flaws in his kit he has one of the highest burst damage kits of any adc in league with Graves; however because of his short range and reduced damage on his passive he does suffer but maintains a strong presence throughout the entire course of the game and never truly falls off at any point.
CreationFlaw1 votesWait what. Sivir has always been one of the highest damaging ADC's in my mind.

DarthSpectrum1 votesLucian is more akin to Graves in term of damage. Their DPS are not the best, but they make up for it in burst. In fact, Lucian actually comes online in terms of his burst damage far sooner than Graves does.
He may output less damage overall compared to Ashe who has a powerful AA steroid, but he can make up for that deficit with a quick burst combo. As well, AD casters such as Lucian and Graves are strong right off the bat. They are frequently listed as counters to AA dependent champions such as Jinx because they need 2 or more items to do meaningful damage. You are trading your late game for your early game. Jinx or Ashe can't even compare to Lucian before they can get items, you have plenty of opportunities to secure a lead for yourself during laning phase.
