Is there any reason to Jayce current state?

Why is a champ allowed to have almost no bad matchups and those bad matchups can effectively be turned around with the use of a combat summoner and not TP?

Lemme guess he falls off? He doesnt it's season 7 please. He takes skill? Where?? find it for me He has weaknesses? Only weakness beeing his form change beeing on a 6 second cd but guess what if he goes hammer he can oneshot you. if he is cannon ofc he is too far from you and if you commit you gonna die unless you oneshot him.

But you know better nerf Darius or something like that who you can jsut walk up to and shaft his upfront dmg. Or maybe nerf Shen i've heard he does dmg after he autoattacks you 15 times we cant have that happening. Not to mention armor doesnt mean anything sicne the average jayce build is YoM/EoN/BC which makes him tanky as fuck.

It's sad excuse of a champ and even more sad his playerbase who think they are good because thye play a champ that can effectively deal with anything up against him.

He does take skill if you want it or not. There are a few tricks and animation cancels to play him properly. He does fall off, every statistic shows it and it IS a fact. He has several weaknesses. Well respect his early dmg. You don't do this, your fault. Same as you should respect a full build vayne and not necessarly 1v1. But after looking up your profile i saw there is no need to talk to you further considering you cry about jayce players "thinking they are good" when all you do is abusing busted champs yourself. Hi shaco, kha and rengo being your most played champs. Especially rengo top. Then ofc you are salty because you play riven and darius and a good jayce shits on both of them. Understandable but how about you git gud first? Instead of trying to farm free upvotes because boards hate said champ?

It's sad you can't play around Jayce. Is he hard to beat? Sure, but the recent changes to BC nerfed his damage, YoM/EoN have been nerfed, and his ranged damage is completely blocked by minions. Complaining, and insulting Jayce players is pointless. If you're really unable to deal with him, try asking for assistance, instead of acting like Jayce is some broken 70% winrate champion.

  1. Whether you like it or not, Jayce requires a fairly high skill level in order to be played effectively, both in laning phase and in the mid/late game.
  2. He does fall off with the Lethality build, and he doesn't scale very well with Tear of the Goddess either.
  3. His melee WAS nerfed, and did reduce his damage by a noticeable amount. The only thing I can agree with you about, is that he doesn't have any "HARD" counter matchups. However, I would say that plenty of champions beat him absolutely. Most tanks can't be killed by him (Maokai, Nautilus, Shen), meaning that they can simply farm. A tank is far more useful in teamfights than Jayce is.

He's a champ with no ult; he'd better have mostly winning matchups.
