Talking about Azir

He is a very high skillcap champ but theres a few things i would like to discuss with the community about him.

I think his high skillcap is brought on by some details in how he is played and how his abilities work that could be undertoned so that people have an easier time with him. for example, his soldiers sometimes do not attack! i understand you wanting to be able to tell them WHEN you want them to attack, but i do believe that if he is within range of an enemy champion, automatically attacking could make him a bit easier. its like having an aa'ing orianna ball which is kinda hard to click around so you move and they also AA. i think changing this to automatically attacking champions would be an improvement to how hard it is to play with him.

Also, there is something that feels weird about him Q'ing his soldiers and they rarely get there... i always fall short of bushes because my soldiers seem like they dont wanna go in them. is the ability the problem or is it on purpose? i dont understand.

also, there seems to be a bug with azir regarding inhibitors. if i have an inhibitor close to one of my soldiers, they stop attacking. i know the soldiers arent supposed to attack the inhibitor but i cant aa them myself either.

another problem i see with him is the positioning of the soldiers from his Q! I Q someplace and i expect my soldiers to converge on that exact point yet they end up close but rather around instead of on top of the Q'd point. it makes sense to place them a bit separated so that they may have their own space but man, it becomes rather easy to escape from them.

Also, his damage peaks until the late game and he is squishy as hell the rest of the game. his soldiers do the work for him but even minions chunk him out after receiving aggro from a soldier aa. maybe a bit more resistances would help?

another thing i have a problem with is the fact that his E only works if you use it with your mouse close to a soldier, otherwise it does squat. Maybe changing this to the way the syndra W works? something like: ''if there is only one soldier alive you automatically E to him. if there are 2, you E to the one closest to you (the choosing which mechanic would still be in play, im only saying this in case my mouse is elsewhere and i use the ability).

Also, whats up with the ''they dont attack if youre moving around'' thing with him? i think that is just dumb, since he is hard to coordinate with while dodging stuff you need to deal damage yourself and you need to pump those aa's.

One last thing: he is awesome.

i understand these changes would make him op as he already is IMO (only if you know how to use him) but a bit of numbers tuning would make it work.

TL;DR some changes to how his soldiers work would probably reduce his skillcap.

Working as intended. Making him weaker but easier to play is a terrible idea and making him easier to play but same strength also terrible.

I want to feel a sense of accomplishment for playing him well and your ideas take that away. Likewise for the enemy. He should feel that he died because he got outplayed.
