Rengar- How does one counter Rengar? Passive - a No Cooldown Jump Q - Autoattack reset that can deal 1000 damage at once W - % Damage taken heal --Buffed--> %DamageTaken Heal, MS Buff, and a CC Cleanse E - A ranged slow --Buffed--> A ranged Root R - A very short cooldown- Movement speed buff, long range dash, True Sight reveal, and bonus damage

(NO mana cost on anything and all of his abilities can be animation canceled.)

How do you counter assassins? Wards, CC, Shielding or healing, and sticking near a teammate What does Rengar do? Build duskblade to ignore wards, has a CC cleanse, laughts at shields, kills you before you can heal, one shots you even near a team and then kill your team afterwards because he has a %damagetaken heal.

The single and only saving grace you have against Rengar is having Godlike Thresh that can E Rengar out of his R before he kills your ADC.

"Pika Fox" mentioned Poppy, which is a counter if you manage to find a Poppy that wants to support or find a Poppy at all.

Wow. Even dumpstered and people are still complaining about Rengar.

People just won't be happy with him until he's permanently disabled (which will be never) or re-worked into something that is Rengar without actually being Rengar (which may happen eventually sometime in the distant future).

Rengar has one of the biggest counters in league; gamestate. Rengar is actually one of those few champions that is essentially a 4v6 if he's behind. He's absolutely feast or famine and has some of the most difficulty coming back from behind. There's a reason he's a solo climb monster while never really being viable in competitive or high elo comps. Hell he genuinely sucks in general at the moment. WORK WITH YOUR TEAM TO SHUT HIM DOWN, FULLSTOP. Are you a toxic PoS that wants to have his cake and eat it too? Too bad, here's an empowered Q.

I don't consider his playstyle or design to be healthy, but in the moment those problems aren't going anywhere. Regardless he does have real counterplay that you should really start considering. This post reeks of elo shitter more than anything.

Rengar's probably the hardest countered assassin by virtue of ARMOR. He does build Lethality, but he has one of the worst pairings with Black cleaver, since his skills generally only hit once. In other words, a single Armor item can null all potential armor penetration he builds, and then some.

item 3110 absolutely destroys his kill potential, as does item 3075 and item 3157

Rengar is generally only a problem when you nub it up, feed his passive 5 bounties by 4-5 minutes and spend the entire game vs a 26% AD bonus kit. And, most pro rengars will try to do this right away (1-3 are easiest kills).... So.... expect ganks..... and stay the F away from bushes, and control ward, until you have armor. Then just trick him into a bush engage and destroy him inside the bush (he can't bush leap twice if you are inside his bush)

I really dislike playing against rengar, but the main thing you have to use against him is instinct. Stealth assassin players, at least in plat and under where I've played most of my games, tend to play super predictably and run at you in a straight line because they assume you won't throw your skills out blind. Given the choice between that and just dying the instant he jumps me, I tend to get up against a wall and throw a combo out where I think he's coming from. I have a bunch of saved highlight clips where this catches him out, breaks his ult stealth and gets him very low before he even gets on me. There's one on brand where I just straight up kill him. I've even done it on Nami and it's the funniest thing ever, this badass assassin getting bubbled in stealth by the support and just oneshot by my team before he can do anything.

Sweeping lens helps with this a lot because you get that little shimmer where he is and it does slightly outrange his jump.

You seem to think lethality counters armor, it's the other way around. Armor counters lethality. And armor is countered only by % arm pen.

So, you see him destroying the ward with duskblade and somehow you still die to him? like, wtf is this?

Yearly reminder since season 2 that crit adcs have no counterplay.

..?? Resourceless burst per second no cooldown(outside animation which is countered via attack speed) hardest scaling lifesteal due to crit itemazation also while sporting 500+ range and almost always having a second player on top of them.

Only counterplay? CC/Insta death.

What is the difference? Fucking NONE and don't give me the RENGAR CAN W CC. All goddamn %^%^ ( self censor thank me later mods) can buy MERCURIAL or even a big ARMOR ITEM like they did 4 years ago and make him irrelevant because Mages get a

OOOPS YOU DON'T INTERACT WITH ME RIGHT NOW BRO ITEM item 3157 which reveals him and he dies instantly or flashes out then becoming useless cause his position is known. I have HUNDREDS of rengar games on my own accounts ( Hint this ain't mine i'm permabanned from boards ) and he has the same toxic shit of a kit as ADCs only difference he comes online at 1 item not at 1.75(IE/ZEAL/DAGGER) like adcs. But i NEVER had an issue with a Rengar outside playing shitty diamond 3 games while crit rengar was viable because they fed him 10 kills somehow pre 11.

So please STFU untill adcs get gutted and crit stat removed untill then DO NOT complain about ANYTHING that relates to POINT AND CLICK BURST WITH NO COUNTERPLAY.
