Resource for No-Cost Champions

Keeping every ability the same, No-Cost Champions could work off of Fatigue.

Hear me out on this: All no-cost champions would still operate primarily off of Cooldown: however each ability they cast adds to their fatigue pool.

This pool is a maximum of 100 Points, and while they are not casting abilities, after 3 seconds the pool drains at a rate of 10 per second.

If a champion gains 100 Points of Fatigue they are silenced until they drop back down to 50 points, the Fatigue drain also forgoes the 3 second wait period before draining.

This would force Garen Gnar Katarina Riven Yasuo to juggle a resource and prevent spamming their abilities with no consequence.

...Why? Most of your proposed changes either do nothing whatsoever (Garen still has zero resource effectively until extreme lategame with 40% cdr) or completely gut the champion (Katarina cannot use her resets at all, as after a single combo she only has 15 points left). It's completely arbitrary and bad design.

Like, for example a "normal" Garen combo in lane is QEW wander around until stuff is off cooldown. Your resource system does nothing to change this . Lategame, Garen requires using his Q and E basically off cooldown to even function...and at that point in the game your resource system completely fucks him over.

But hey, let's look at the others. Gnar literally cannot hit the cap in lane and can only hit it if he is in mega form spamming every skill possible. Your resource system effectively does nothing in lane AND nothing lategame except in cases of extreme spam. It's unneeded.

Katarina can use her full combo once, and then even if she got a kill/assist and resets she can do nothing for 5 seconds. Her laning has zero changes, but her roaming, objectives, and teamfight got gutted beyond belief. Your resource system here completely ruins an entire champion.

And Riven, who due to how arbitrary and heavyhanded the costs are I am assuming you made this entire suggestion for. She cannot do her main combo, in lane or out of it. Let me repeat that. Your suggestion is to add a resource system to a low cooldown, combo based champion...that silences her and makes it so she cannot use her combos or cooldowns. This is stupid. I'm not going to write more other than saying this is the stupidest "serious" Riven nerf I've seen in 2 years of being on these boards.

Yasuo: Windwall cost is entirely useless, Q and E costs repeat the Riven arguement. His Q is for all intents and purposes a strike through autoattack: why are you trying to force a resource on autoattacks. Still same badly made forced mess as the others.

Or the theory behind different kind of resources in general

Yeah the point is most resourceless champions legit can't even lasthit without using their abilities. Gnar is different, but he is not really resourceless, he needs to manage his rage.

Only one I could never get is Garen, if Trundle can be mana user so could he, if he got healthy enough mana pool.

basically give every resourceless champ rumbles resource? also do you understand resourceless? it means they dont need a resource and they are punished in other ways for having this advantage. giving them a resource would make them even worse.

So its a reverse energy system? Sounds uselessly complicated and turns them into Rumbles. The whole point of being resource-less is to not have to fuck around with a resource in the first place.

Might be a fun mechanic for a new champion (kinda like having a second Rumble champion) but its not worth it to retool others into it.
