Its about 17220 ip (Or more/less varying on what type of page it is) for a single full rune page

And 50-100 ip per game, counting FWOTD 250 about, so lets just assume someone already spent their FWOTD and are now farming ip for a T3 rune page in a day, it'd take about 230 games (varying since theres no set amount of ip your getting so I'm going to assume its 75 per game) to get a single rune page.... if you ask me thats pretty ridiculous , and i think rune prices should be reduced a least a little...for a new player thats really overwhelming Edit: and if you played at least once every day and won, it'd take about 68 days to get to 17220

It's not quite that bad. You only really need a basic AD and AP page to adequately cover most champions in a general sense and those pages can use the same seals and glyphs. Together, they cost 2059+2059+4109+2059+31025+31025 = 15,375 which isn't too severe.

Specialized pages are great to have, but they aren't required or extremely influential at lower levels of play (which is where most players without rune pages are located). They can be picked up gradually pretty easily as you play the game.

When I was first leveling my account, I was able to fill those two basic rune pages by saving IP from levels 16 to 20. Admittedly, I made sure to check the forums to see what they recommended and liked experimenting with champions on free week before buying them, so it was pretty easy. I managed to fill out the rest of my pages during rune sales, since they would always be announced when I had saved up around 30k IP (I tended to save a lot before buying anything back then...).

Mh, but imo there shouldn't really be a fluctuation between specialized runes, like if I'm a zed main and , say i want energy, well those cost more than regular so i'd have to farm a lot more just for 9 energy runes, Personally I'd like to be able to build hp runes and move speed without having to dish out SO much ip :/ perhaps its just me but it feels wrong

I can agree on that. It took me a while to afford a lot of the specialized runes that I wanted (Flat CDR, Health Regeneration, Hybrid Pen, Lifesteal, etc). At this point I have everything I want, but it would have been nice if they were cheaper when I was saving up for them.

About how much IP does someone get leveling from 1 to 30?

ThatAutofillSupp1 votes

that varies on how much exp you got , ect which I'm too lazy to research, and i dont know about you but levels 1-30 i was just truing to buy champions when i was new.. point is it costs way too much and i dont new players would want to save up THAT MUCH just for a small advantage in game because buying champions are much more appealing (Not saying runes aren't worth though)

you should only be buying runes at level 30

Honestly, one of the biggest things to help new players save IP is the removal of Tier I/II runes, and if when creating an account it told you how to get Tristana, Alistar and Garen for free.
