Broad "Class" Updates

There have been big Juggernaut and Marksman updates so far, with a Mage one in the works. In my opinion, I don't think these huge updates are a good thing; and feel every champ should be treated individually.

You do realize that the Juggernaut update and the Marksman update are really nothing more than multiple individual updates at once, right? The Graves update for example is rather mutually exclusive to the Quinn update.

Or if you mean that they should be focusing their efforts into big individual Sion level updates, well they do. Notice that Poppy and Shen were isolated in their updates, with no major itemization changes or the likes to try to generalize them into their classes. Notice that they never actually make gigantic sweeping changes to champions in these class updates. Juggernauts more or less play the same, and the most radical changes to the ADCs effectively maintained the same ADCs.

I only partially agree with you. Updating them all at once is a thematic thing that tries to effect how that group interact with the game. Yes more individual stuff like Shen and Sion is better in my own personal opinion.
