Honestly...

Riot, can't you just keep different gamemodes in by a large variety? People really want to keep TT for an example, but there is more than that out there as well that people want back. This includes OG Urf, Dominion, and so on, even Odyssey Extraction which was just for a skin event. Diverse modes is what makes the game fun, instead of constantly going into summoner's rift to be caught in bad matchups, autofilling, and so on... What you could do riot is if you keep TT in the game, and bring back previous modes but more updated and fleshed out. This will not only keep more players from leaving the game, but also might make some players return or even new players to join and want to play this game more.
