Irelia is obnoxious...

This champion has one of the most volatile and unhealthy kits in the game. Period.

A close second to Poppy, Irelia - regardless of how the Summoner plays - eventually becomes a monster who at will can dive a team (like Poppy or Fiora) and decimate a the backline without any real counter play. Unless there's peel for "dayz" and good coordination, Irelia literally has her way with anyone. What makes things more frustrating is that the reward is so high for such a lack of effort and skill required by the player (press Q-W-E -> tango down). On top of that, she's thematically boring and has no real impact on the "fantasy and identity" of a League of Legends Champion which Riot speaks so much about with other champions ("Veigar, Morde, Kassadin" RIP - Patch 5.4). I know Irelia's been through a lot, but please, she needs love... you know... the tough kind you guys love to give.

Now, I know her stun duration was reduced but that doesn't make up for the fact that she can deal fatal burst with just a Triforce and build pure tank after. Her mid game power spike is just insane she only gets stronger post level 9. Her kit is safe enough to go even in lane (at worst) pre-power spike so... wtf? It just doesn't make sense to play anything else right now except this champ on the top lane...

She's still way too strong.
