Is it weird for a non-support to take Sighstone?

Also as a Midlaner you can start with and get Gives a small edge aswell.

ward hopping champions like Lee sin could benefit greatly from sightstone since it offers defensive stats and mobility to them.

As a support main, I don't think so. Usually if another position is going to take Sightstone it would be the Jungle though. I for one love looking at the map and seeing vision everywhere and knowing that I was not the sole reason. Aside from that, how about everyone place pink for once?

I was told by my friend that sightstone is very useful on Rek Sai when you are underground... Now what he meant by that idk but I would assume that wards would be highly useful to jg.. if not more useful than it is to bot.
