Vel'Koz changes are desperately needed.

Riot. Can you P L E A S E tell me why you just BUFFED the range on Blitzcrank's hook, but you REFUSE to make ANY change to Vel'Koz? A champion who is supposed to be a R A N G E D AP Support according to you now has some of the most MEDIOCRE ranges compared to his other ranged support AND AD threats, AND his Mid lane counterparts if you choose to play him mid? You also give him a COMPLETE lack of escape other than flash and ghost if you feel like you're facing the most movement based team on existence since you've give half the new champions you've released several movement based abilities. You've left in such a state that I a player with 669,007 Mastery points on him between mid and mostly support on him and up to Plat 2 to this point with mostly him alone. I LOVE this champion, and it's REALLY frustrating to see him in such a mediocre state when he's supposed to be this amazing cosmic horror. If you want him to be the Terrifying Champion he desperately deserves to be given his lore, give him a boost to the tools he uses to do the job then.

Excuse me? Vel'Koz is one of the most sleeper OP champions in the game.

He needs his mana cost early game lowered. Other than that he seems okay. I think the problem is that a few competitors are overpowered by comparison.

Vel is in a very balanced state! I'd rather no changes so when the meta shifts in his favor he doesn't get a bigger nerf.

Vel is perfectly fine, very capable, and he has plenty of skill expression. League would be better if more champs were like him, he isn't that too much feast or famine due to his waveclear.

I've mained Vel'Koz mid for a while, but honestly I think he's in a decent place right now. His stats are balanced nicely. Assassins aren't as prevelant as they used to be. All you really need to worry about is the occasional Fizz or Sylas. Zed and Yasuo are uncommon, and both of them are still outplayable (silly samurai, wind can't protect you from the Z A P). Ahri is fairly common, but I usually don't have much of an issue with her unless she happens to be especially good.

He's especially strong in low elo( low Plat and below) where most people are. Many of the champs listed above are banned in almost every game. And down here, nobody knows how Vel'Koz works, so they have no idea how to deal with you.

And if you're playing support, Vel'Koz hard counters the omnipresent Lux. Even if she manages to snare you, that won't save her and her adc from getting Z A P P E D.
