Now that we have the option to mute pings, I feel they shouldn't have a limit on them.
Simple reason: NO ONE LISTENS TO THEM, at least in lower ELO.
You know how many games could have gone differently if someone on my team ACTUALLY LISTENED TO MY PINGS?!

Mal the Red1 votesFirst time someone pings me repeatedly. I tell them to stop it and that it annoys me.
If they keep doing it or someone else tries to do it for them. I will outright ignore them and say "Don't care." in chat then when I'm safe I add on "Want me to do something? Ping once and ONLY once."
If they continue to do so after that, then I block that toxic piece of shit.
