I just started playing Vayne since yesterday after getting my ass beaten and bruised by Ashe. Great to say now the shoe's on the other foot. However after reading through some guide on Vayne, it is hard to determine which item I should build first.

Rintam1 votesShe is an attack speed on hit ADC, like Kindred, Kalista and Kog'Maw. For these champions attack speed and on hit effects are better than raw damage. I am no professional, so don't take my word for it, but I believe BORK is better.
Kaioko1 votesMost people start out with Botrk considering she has a tendency to get poked down and needs the sustain. Usually that followed by phantom dancer into infinity edge is pretty common if you're playing her as your ADC.
UberAffe1 votesOnly take youmoos if you are having a problem with initially catching up to people, in practically every other situation bortk will be better for you.
hsumis1ove1 voteswith the new patch, youmuus will be better in theory along with q max. You could also go ie plus pd rush and max q again.
