Soraka not that bad but the disapproval of her...

I hated the rework soraka was getting. I thought it was awful but turns out its not bad. I will say the Armor/MR conversion to AP is not needed and imo is just bad. I hardly ever build tanky on her to begin with or mad ap im usually going for supportish items to give better utility such as heals and silences/etc.

I have only played Sorka 12 times this season...not a whole lot but 11 win and 1 lost has me at 91.7% win ratio. But out of those times I get criticized hard just for playing her a good amount of times. Recently I had a game where Malphite would constantly point me out of the group while he did point fingers to others he pointed his fingers mostly not plays but because OF SORAKA herself. I was told to never ever play her again despite dying less on the time making huge clutch saves and being a damn good battery That could keep the team in the fight against a tryndamere Who was becoming a beast to handle.

Its not huge but I currently have a 4 win streak as her. I have found her being great against poke champs. Champs who like to try and get closer to land an ability. Sometimes they are easily silenced before they can get the ability off resulting getting chomped by me (slightly) and/or my adc and at times when they do land their powers I able to heal their damage on my ADC. Staying in the back conserving your hp is key but so is your mana as your q and e can easily drain you of what mana you have left for a critical engage. Getting a Challice allows you to be more aggressive throwing in a few more Q's and E's while eventually getting a nomads medallion which gives a steady hp regen helps greatly for small skirmish stalemate fights where the enemy team will be forced to back off due to their low hp while my allies stay close to full.

Whats the point of this thread...really just me being impressed and telling Riot you did good and I was wrong. Yeah she isn't op, she can't land an ability and prevent all damage like thresh Q can but her silence is extremely useful during burst comps or for anything as those fews seconds of silences allow the enemy team to be obliterated from chain cc or rapid attacks and abilities while they may wait a little before they can power through. If you see a Soraka in rank...don't hate, appreciate it, the heals can be legendary. Remember she is a champion that can save your life from ticking from an ignite click and possibly a Karthus ult with her abilities.
