Does Riot think all of us play LoL 24/7
Because that's what this update feels like its targeting. So little exp each game and so much just to level up? On top of that, that's the way to get BE.

The new system is MUCH BETTER for casuals than the old system because first win of the day was so heavily buffed.
If you only play an average of 2 games per night then you will be unlocking champs faster now even when you get up to the really high levels.

is the exp per level the same every level after 30 tho?
No, it gets slower in cycles of 10 levels and then gives you a big chest with a bunch of extra crap at the 'milestone' level. Then it resets back to a fast speed but is slightly slower, this pattern repeats until level 150 where it resets to the exact same rate after every milestone.
Of course, that slowing of xp gain will also be less relevant to casual players as they won't make it to as high of a level.
Well, after level 30, it doesn't really matter.
IP gains were higher than BE gains for people who played a lot of games every day. BE gains are actually higher for people that play less, it's just spread out across a fairly long period of time, creating a sense of a lack of progression.
