Which champs best counter yasuo?
I was playing orianna against a yasuo once, the yas towerdived and ulted and I ulted and he got pulled in and died. I tried this again with another yasuo the week after and they died too lol.

Who counters yasuo?

is this a joke? I don't think Sona counters Yasuo. it seems like ur just listing bot laners

arent bot lanners
not the point i was trying to make but ok
well that is what you said

so what point where you trying to make. cuz that is what you said
that none of those champs counter yasuo
Aatrox: CC and has more sustain due to lifesteal Bard: Stun/Slow, can get away from Yasuo with MS buff from chimes, and Ult can cause him to disengage or be stuck in a bad spot Azir: Soldiers do huge chunks of damage to Yasuo, and his AA either with or without his soldiers pops his Passive shield Galio: Tanks, gives opponents engagability which Yasuo is wary of, and his Ult can destroy Yasuo without really trying Janna: Her Q and R. Also, her W slows him which makes disengages easier and Qs easier to land, and her E mitigates his damage while giving your attacks that extra bit you or an ally needs to focus him down (Janna vs Yasuo is actually pretty easy) Kog'Maw: Seriously? How can that continuous damage NOT be considered a counter? Nami: Bubbles and waves Lulu: Best as a support instead of laning against him alone, but she has excellent poke against him early game Shaco: Fear and backstabs Singed: Poison pops Yasuo's shield and makes it useless. Sona: Q poke, W heal, E escape/engage, and Ult Stun. May have a difficult laning phase but the rest of the game depends on how the early game goes Soraka: Q slow and E silence. Wouldn't face Yasuo alone but is deadly with that silence Tahm Kench: Q poke, can tank Yasuo with little-to-no trouble, and can swallow Yasuo Teemo: Just Teemo Urgot: Q poke, E makes Q poke far easier, W shields against damage, and Ult can put Yasuo is a very bad spot Veigar: Q poke, W does a lot of damage but isn't reliable, E is CC, Ult is massive damage Vel'Koz: Just focus Yasuo and ult when it's right ZIlean: Stuns, MS, and can reduce Yasuo's damage to nothing due to revival Ult Zyra: Lots of damage and CC
He's listing CC machines, champions with too much skillshot pressure, champions who don't care about windwall and melee bruisers. Overall, he's not wrong with any of them, they all do wonderfully against Yasuo, well kind of.
I'd remove Teemo from the list. He can fight well against a yasuo, but if the enemy Yasuo knows what he's doing, Teemo doesn't stand a chance.
lol you know that list isnt serious?
No, I don't. With everyone bitching about yasuo, wouldn't be surprised if someone went as far as taking a 500 word explanation on how to counter Yasuo.
So I wouldn't know if it's a joke or not these days...
well that is the state of the community all they do is bitch no matter what... just look at the threads regarding victorious maokai ... every one is crying and complaining
That's all these forums do.
Meanwhile I'm just sipping coffee, because gold rank related skins are none of my business. Sips from cup.
Yas completely counters Velkoz...
is a good counter. She's pretty much melee, his windwall only works against her E, which is meh and she can destroy Yasuo during his dashing.
Olaf is the strongest counter in my opinion. Darius can beat him, Cho gathering beats him, and zed beats him.

All more than capable of fighting Yasuo.
I love playing
into
Annie counter him pretty hard.

A good Yasuo will own Kayle hard.
In mid lane? Assuming both take exhaust and are on equal levels of skill Kayle wins.
No... Kayle destroys Yas

Lemme correct myself. A Yasuo of equal skill will own Kayle early game. Kayle becomes much stronger than Yas after

. Before that, Yas just out damages her. I main Kayle and I've learned that smart Yas players will go on you every chance they get during the laning phase. If Yas plays passive vs Kayle in lane he will probably lose the early laning phase to her but if he is super aggressive, Kayle just cannot outtrade him. Yasuo's kit has too much shit in the early game for her to deal with. Specifically his shield passive and his hurricane thing. Just think, at level 1, Kayle only has her E but Yas can have his Q, his shield and passive on his Q which is also a form of CC. At level 2 he now has a dash added to that. Kayle can either opt for W or for Q, both of which are quite weak in the early game so it doesn't add much to her much trading power.
I know I'm only Silver but I've played this match-up a fucktonne of times. I mean like a lot. Kayle vs Yas is probably my most common matchup.

She can and will, actually. The more he extends the trade, the more chances she has to win. He may have a lot early on, but so does she. He loses his shield just by coming to farm. From there on out, not even his dashes help.
I also main Kayle. This matchup is entirely in her favor. Kayle often goes W at level two to help her escape ganks. Kayle will always be stronger than Yasuo because of her passive. Even if his shield is consumed, she applied a passive stack on him, something he doesn´t have. Couple that with exhaust and he most definitely loses.

Only if you can kite him out. I used to do this vs lesser Yasuos and win lane alot vs him. However, as I climbed and started facing better Yasuo players, I noticed that they don't allow you to kite at all. They stay right in your face and constantly auto attack. His Q has a low cooldown and I think it's also an auto attack reset so he's getting in a lot more autos than you at early levels and he starts Doran's blade usually so his autos do more damage.
The only way I can beat this aggressive play is by starting with all attack speed runes but personally I value early CDR more than attack speed. My favorite rune setup on her starts with enough CDR to give my E only 2 seconds downtime at level one.
Why would you prefer more CDR over AS? Kayle makes good use of CDR, but as a Marksman, she´ll always prefer AS over it. There is no need for high CDR amounts early on, since one of the two most common rune setups will leave you at 30% after Nashor's, or the other who´ll leave you at 40% after Nashor's at level 18. Too much CDR cripples her power since she absolutely needs to break 1.0 AS after her first back, otherwise her farming and laning in general becomes too difficult.

I've used a full attack rune speed setup quite a bit in the past and while I love her early dueling power with this setup, the 4 second downtime on her E it really annoys the fuck out of me to be honest. It's just a bitch to farm without CDR since there's a whole 4 seconds after every E where you can get zoned off CS in nearly all midlane matchups.
EDIT:
You've given me an idea. Just decided to try something new. I revisited my rune setup and bought 9 scaling CDR glyphs which would give me 15% CDR at level 18. This new setup allows me to get 36% attack speed while giving me 15% CDR at level 18. I was getting 21% attack speed when I used flat CDR runes to get 15%. I'll see how this goes.
No... Kayle destroys Yas
Kayle has a pretty low Attack Speed without items. Just focus her down after her E (or during it if she's not focusing you) and you should shut her down before she's a problem. After that it's just a matter of prioritizing her before she goes HAM on your team with her E, and making her waste her Ult.
Tanks because tanks counter everything.
I used to pick Gragas into him. I'd play near my tower and intentionally get him by the tornados, and when he ults me i just ult and bodyslam him under my turret. fun stuff really.
in low ELO,
warwick does l0l
just rush sunfire into frozen heart, he will get roflestomped.

And
does ok
Mainly anyone that can focus him down with CC or damage, or can tank his damage while chipping away at him and making his Passive's shield meaningless. Mobile Ranged Champs are especially deadly if you know how to play it right; I've beaten down more Yasuos as Tristana than I can imagine, all I had to do was draw out his Windwall and beat him down until he dashes at you with his E.

Pick someone who will outplay Yasuo's kit more often, like
(no particular order)
Champs that can do tons of damage by clicking on him. So bruisers, assassins, and burst mages.
Depends on both players but general counters are champs with CC or they have more mobility and dmg:

Basically anything that is melee for example
and
oh yeah don't forget the ult of a AD
oh and maybe a
the 7
mains would agree with me on that one because it is
Fizz makes Yasuo cry :D
He appears most in the Midlane so I choose Brand for burst consistent damage and two non skillshot abilities and Lissandra to lock him in place when he dies
Top lane I've beaten Yasuo with Riven and Swain. It all really comes down to how good you are with the champions. I've beaten Yasuo's with Vel'Koz which is a very difficult match up
Every time i run shyvanna i make yasuo die or run so i think she is a good counter.
