Can we just admit support items are the most broken thing in the game right now?

There's players in high challenger who build item 3109 item 3190 in jungle, marksman are starting to pick up item 3302 item 2003 as their first buy because you get health+450 extra hp from pots and you let your support get item 3504 quicker and the list goes on. Like I get you guys wanted to make support a fun and innovative role, but when there's 3 different classes buying support items, I feel like something needs to be changed.

ardent was basically unheard of a few months ago. It was fine. The problem right now is ADCs, pure and simple. Tanks are in a really shitty spot with shitty items and basically can't tank, so may as well be a second support.(knights vow being the go to armor item right now is really sad)

Ya, all tanks have been turned into during this season is a peel and protector, simply dont last long enough to engage a teamfight...against a full ad team... a tank will still have trouble staying alive even when they have item 3047 item 3143 item 3193 item 3075 item 3022 ..so you are better off just staying next to your carry and ccing anyone who tries to kill them...

or spend gold on items to do damage to enemies / protect your teammates and that way you dont have thousands of gold down the drain of wasted stats still get 1 or 2 selfish defensive items though, keep room for locket / vow

Support is actually miserable right now. It's literally who can buy ardent first, ignoring all wards / boots/ item upgrades / etc. Who the fuck honestly has fun playing like that? The answer is nobody. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't actually find the playstyle fun, but instead finds the fact that you completely fuck over your enemies in lane by buying one item and pressing 1 button fun. There needs to be, as people put it, skill expression in the item when there is none

As for the other items, they really aren't in a bad spot. Knights vow sounds strong, and it's a good item, but it isn't as strong as people think, and the damage isn't lost all together, it's just redirected onto a new target as true damage. Locket actually requires a player to time it, since it has a very short duration, and decays rapidly. If you want maximum effect, you need to use it at opportune times, not whenever. This is how shields are supposed to be. They're supposed to be opportunistic damage shields, not per-emptive at all times damage shields.
