It was objectively more fun doing a 5v5 tank teamfight than whatever the hell we are dealing with now

At least there was variety and replayability back then. Neither of which exists today thanks to Riot's halfass mentality.

Tank metas weren’t lame because tanks were tanky, it was lame because tanks were beating everything because they did entirely too much damage. I’d have no problem with a beefier meta where beefier champions do less damage but focus on controlling fights through utility and durability.

Tank meta was the "tank" 1-shotting squishies because Sunfire and Iceborn did so much damage. If you recall some "other tank meta" then please inform me. I really don't think half the people that talk about the "tank meta" even played during that time.

tank meta was garbage, this is coming from someone who play mages and tanks mostly with very little of everything else. i say this because in that meta you just see 4 bitchs and an adc on each team team fights were extremely lame as it only tanks tanking and adc pew pew everything

current meta is not even assassin meta as ppl seem to claim to be

I just don't like the fact that item 3147 exists. If they had an alternative to item 3078 like item 3100 , but for assassins, then it wouldn't be as bad because that means that they'd actually have to land their abilities to proc it. Not have some stupid Hecarim just run from the bushes and kill you one shot.

Huh? Tank meta was back when the tanks were the one killing people, it wasn't a damage sponge vs damage sponge fight... the tanks would kill you while they CC'd you; At least in this current garbage game meta the champs that burst you can be bursted back since they're glass cannons, tanks weren't.
