Frozen Mallet on Irelia?
So I just tried out
, and she seems like a champion that
+
might be effective on (as items to fill out a build, not core). Any thoughts on this?

No! Do the original build of triforce and full tank.
I prefer atmogs irelia ;)
BUt yeah thats a lot of chasing / peeling power. Good vs slippery assassins or if you team lacks cc, you can get attack speed and slow multiple people.
Depends how you wanna play her that game. Assassin, peeler/initator , or splitpusher
is strong on yasuo, im sure its strong on irelia, jax, etc...
Frozenmallet is a very potent item for any champ that wants to consitently AA, and it's really strong if ahead. The buffs it recived at the beginning of the season where rather massive, and it's sleeper op since then. If playing a strong duelist, trinity into mallet can be really strong, hitting an opponent once usually can translate into a kill as they can't get away from you, and the raw stats it gives are quit decent. It's just not very great if you ever fall behind. Not much of a BotrK fan though, unless you plan on splitpushing and your opponent stacks health with little armor.
Frozenmallet is a rather broken item since the buffs at the start of the season. It can help dueliists like irelia alot at snowballing from even a small lead, and it's allso a strong item on many adc to round up the built. It's only a matter of time till it gets used on trinity builts for ez, and it's quite potent on most hurricane users as a defensive option that alows to convert poke into kills by chaseing down targets.
It's questionable due to Irelia's E having such a high up-time. The idea is that by the time the stun ends you've chunked them out substantially already. The stacked case for BotRK and FM also isn't very good. They kinda do the same thing already.
