I have a friend who is quite skilled at this game and is convinced that games in the NA LCS are intentionally thrown; he references things like Huni picking Lucian toplane and TSM's magical ascent back into first place in playoffs. He said "once you know what you're watching, it looks more rigged than wrestling."
Do you think there is any validity to this claim or not so much? Just curious...
I remember back in season 1 when this was just a game, and no one tried to use it as their bread and butter so they can skate through life.
LCS and all this pro sports shit, throw it out the window.
Sometimes it seems that way but Riot has no reason to tamper with the outcomes of LCS games.
If they were trying to fix games the last thing they would do is play lucian top. Seems more like huni outsmarting himself again. Also tsm as much as i hate to say it have worked hard and earned their spot. Your friend sounds like he wears a lot of tinfoil.

TSM "Magical Playoffs" ROUND ONE CLOUD 9. Rush..... Rush..... Died countless times that cost C9 games literally Rush died so much that it was easy for TSM to win. Balls fell off the face of the earth after 2014 season. Hai while a GREAT shotcaller is NOT a Support player. You can watch Solo Q games and just in general the way he plays "mostly as support" is engage while shotcalling and it's just not a good way to win as well as he wanted to fight 24/7 that series.
ROUND TWO IMMORTALS. Entered the playoffs thinking that they can't be beat and got destroyed. They underestimated TSM by picking the Lucian top which turned Huni into a great Top into a JOKE at that point and ever since.
Svenskeren stepped up whats the reason that made Immortals so good ..........Reignover(JUNGLE) Svenskeren PWND Reignover and that alone wins teams games get Reingover tilted and you win EASILY against Immortals.

No, I doubt it. I believe games were rigged in Korea because the organizations held multiple teams which meant they can influence games
