Why is it always the guy playing the off meta champions fault?

Recently I was playing a ranked match, our team had alistar and malphite, and so I locked in yasuo jg. I had actually done this quite a few times on a friend account. Start of game, Im doing my first clear, trying to get enough gold for devourer and then fizz roams bot, gets a double kill, whos fault is it? mine, for not ganking, malz, malphite, and alistar( especially malz) proceed to flame me throughtout the rest of the game saying that it was blah blah blah my fault, yasuo jg sucks, not my fault that fizz was roaming.

Because people like to blame so that the loss is on someone else's fault than theirs, and the guy with the weird pick is the easiest target.

Losing lane? Blame the jungler! Died? Blame the jungler! Behind in farm? Blame the jungler! Got caught out? Blame the jungler! Girlfriend broke up with you? Meh...blame the jungler for that one too!

Some people will always put the blame on others and never admit to their faults. Junglers and supports take most of the blame in every game. I guess that's the one downfall to playing that role. Just ignore them and gank when you can. Off Meta champs will always be frowned upon but if you truly know how to play them then it can work, sometimes real good too if the opponent underestimates you.

While they're wrong for flaming you, it's better to keep off-meta picks in normal games. I also enjoy experimenting with champions in different roles and with different builds, but I do all of that in normals. Not only does it save four other people from having a sub-par team comp, I actually get to have fun, which for me is the whole purpose of picking something off-meta.

If you don't just play these picks just for fun... well, it's your LP, and you get to decide what to do with it.
