I propose that Garen should still be able to buy it in the item shop. Upon purchasing DFG, your name becomes "DF Garen" in chat and you receive a passive "DFGaren" bonus that gives you 1 additional AP. If you scroll over it, the passive says, "You're a wizard, Garen."
I feel that this change is crucial in order to maintain game balance, not only for Garen, but for league as a whole.

Well how about Riot gives some love to Garen? Honestly, they should be embarassed, that there is a champion with kit so shitty, that the best way to play him is by buying DFG, even if he's got 0 AP scaling and only 1 magic nuke. And that they keep him in that stare for YEARS.
Only reason I say no is because then we enter into unique items and it would have to become garens passive... Unless thats what you want his passive to be

If DFG becomes a unique item for Garen they should remove the unique passive because it's already unique.

I'm thinking of making garen get that DFG stuff at the trinket kinda like rengar. He gets stacks upon kills, and 20 stacks (20 stacks baby) Garen gets bonuses just like rengar.
