Uncovering the truth: The secret connection between Bard and Yasuo
What makes me think so? Well, it was something Yasuo said the other day that struck me as odd:
"A wanderer isn't always lost."
Odd, isn't it? Bard also wanders, and does he get lost? No. In fact, he ALWAYS knows where his chimes are, so if anything, he finds lost things all the time. He knows first hand that "a wanderer isn't always lost." Strange…
So I started to dig deeper. I started to think about some other things that Yasuo says…
"A sword's poor company for a long road."
Bard doesn't carry a sword, does he? And why not? Clearly a heavily muscular individual such as Bard would want a real weapon, instead of a horn. Because Yasuo told him that a sword doesn't make good company. So what does make good company? Meeps.
"The road to ruin is shorter than you think."
Now this one is pretty obvious. Add an "S" to ruin and what do you get? "Ruins". What does Bard want? Ancient artifacts. Where would you search for ancient artifacts? You'd search ruins. Does it take Bard a long time to get there? No, because he casts E on a wall and gets there very quickly. Would you call that a long road, or a short one? BECAUSE I'D CALL IT A SHORT ROAD. Even shorter…than you would think. THIS. CAN'T. BE. COINCIDENCE.
So what does it all mean? Well, it should be obvious at this point:
Bard is the elder who Yasuo was supposed to protect. In life, Bard was like an ancient artifact, old and in need of protecting. In death, he cares for ancient artifacts because he knows how they must feel, being destroyed and misused all the time.
And if by this point you somehow don't believe me, consider this. What are ancient artifacts usually like? They're usually fragile. And what would be capable of destroying something that's old and fragile? Tornadoes. And what are tornadoes made of?
They're made of wind.
TL;DR I'VE UNCOVERED THE TRUTH. CALL THE HISTORY CHANNEL.
Bard travels through realms beyond the imagination of mortal beings. Some of Valoran's greatest scholars have spent their lives trying to understand the mysteries he embodies. This enigmatic spirit has been given many names throughout the history of Valoran, but titles such as Cosmic Vagabond and Great Caretaker only capture a fleeting aspect of his true purpose. When the unknowable structure of the universe is threatened, Bard steers all existence away from utter annihilation.
