Questions About Ranked Queues and MMR
So I am not new to the game but I am confused on some aspects of ranked gameplay. The first thing I would like to know is, does your mmr reset with each new season? So lets say I have bad mmr now and gain 16 lp, next season will I start gaining the average of 20, or will I be stuck with the same 16 lp gains? The last thing I would like to know is how placements work. I know the more games you win the more likely you are to get a higher rank, but how do they use your last season's mmr, and how does your mmr change throughout placements?
