Aram is not random.....

I've been playing Aram for sometime now and I cant help but notice that I've been constantly -- nearly exclusively given particular picks. To be specific -- picks I never would usually play/pick in any other mode. Nothing about whats presented appears 'random'. It's just ultimately picks I don't play or did bad with or found unsavory in the past.

I've noticed that if you've played them before/often in games modes and did well with them you won't see them if at all. This was just through basic observation in comparisons to when I first started playing aram although today. I would be ok with that considering if it wasn't advertised as a 'random' game mode.... I would like to add that i've noticed something similar with playing Little Legends and the re-rolling of card decks.

Is this the standard ?
