Anyone else feel like ranked is s complete joke? You spend all your time earning you LP playing 30~60min games only to lose it the next game to a troll, afk, feeder, etc in 12-20mins. Also, what happened to the cushion you receive for being promoted? I won my promo games 2-0 and lost 1 game at 0 points and got demoted again. All that hard work for nothing. Ranked is a joke. I'm not saltly I'm just telling it like it is. The system needs a huge kick in the ass because it is extremely broken right now.

Ranked is there to test you out under stressful circumstances mostly. I mean, this is a completely team-oriented game, and playing solo won't really let ya do a whole lot, ya know?

So, just accept it for what it is, and have fun with it. The best way to play ranked is to find a team you can play with regularly. Only problem there is, you tend to play the same role every damn game... Gets boring after a while.

Yes, it is a team game. But, how does Riot justify an entire team losing LP and rewarding 5 players for something they did not earn just because someone wants to troll? Because that happened to me twice in my promo. I had to go through my promo 4x because 2 of them I had someone troll pick, feed, and then afk.

Whether you get demoted or not depends on your MMR. If your MMR is way too low, you won't have a grace period for demotion protection (or will have less of one).
