@Riot What's the thought process behind not giving players in their series first pick?
Just curious about this. I think being given highest chances of picking our best champ in our best role would be a great way to help us get over the series hump.

What if two players are in their promos? That wouldn't be fair to just give one of them first pick.
I think players in their promos should get a 'promotional match' border or ribbon, to let their allies know: "This match is important for this summoner." Give the team that extra incentive, ya know?
First pick == best pick
It leaves you open to getting counter-picked, so isn't necessarily "better" than not getting it.
Besides, the new Team Builder Draft that Ranked will be using means you always get one of two preferred roles.
ever consider someone else might play the role better? and that it's unfair to give people in series first pick just because theyre in series, or the fact that you can have multiple people in series, or yaknow, any of the other 20 reasons
