Reminder: Zyra's plants are underpowered

Why? Her plants are temporary, unlike Heimer's turrets. They deal as much damage as Zyra would deal with an autoattack(early and mid-game). They are way too easy to kill. They are dumb. If a champion gets into a plant's range and the plant had no target until then, it will take 1-2 seconds until the plant starts firing. They don't focus champs. Yes, they focus Zyra's targets, but they are very unreliable. My suggestions: Fix the AI. Give the plants more resistance and duration OR buff their damage early game. Make them focus champions. OR Change them as a whole. They may fit Zyra's theme, but they don't fit her kit. Rework them and maybe Zyra will see some attention.

The plants are what makes Zyra good. They are stronger than Heimer turrets late game since they require 3 attacks to kill no matter the damage.

They allow insane early game harass and it's less of a CD than Heimer turrets. If you combo a few plants with her ult, they are really insane.

Please don't try to discuss with these "omg Zyras plants are so weak" idiots. She has problems but her plants aren't one, maybe the AI but by no means their insane damage lol. Heisendongs turrets don't despawn for a reason. It's the only thing he got.

I prefer her skills to be buffed so they have less delay (her Q has as much delay as a Leona ult and her ult is a 1 second knock-up with 2 second channel while Kalista gets an instant 2 second AoE knock-up) so you can actually hit enemies like Zed, Ahri, Ekko with anything.

QOL changes, not buffs.

Give the plants better AI, and make the passive more responsive. The numbers itself are fine.

The thing about Heimer's turrets vs Zyra's plants.

Zyra's plants are only 10 seconds if I remember and on top of that, Zyra has to use her spells on the plants. Heimer doesn't, he just AFKs and then after checking his Twitter and Instagram realizes he's still in a League game when he hears Sejuani try to gank him, and then Zhonya's for a free double kill on the enemy Jungle and Mid.

That was more of a joke, but, Heimer's turrets are a lot more uh, self-sufficient or independent?

I think if Zyra's plants were buffed to be more reliable and just tweak some numbers, they'd be significantly better than Heimer's turrets. However they're pretty bugged and I feel like Riot just forgot about Zyra. She's my second favorite mid laner if not my favorite and I really wish they would just give her a buff or whatever needs to be done so I don't feel like I'm playing such a handicapped mid laner.

If I wanted a zone-control AP Mage with some CC, I'd just pick Heimerdinger or Azir. However, one thing that definitely makes her considerable is that her CC is much more easy to hit and available more often. Plus if Zyra gets ahead, she can force the game to end early since the enemy team won't survive a teamfight.

the pets already take 3 hits to kill so idk what giving them resistances would do when their death is set to a certain amount of hits

They should be an early/mid game thing, but they aren't. If Riot wants them to be a constant threat they need to be buffed a bit, and make it so they don't die within 2 seconds late game from an adc.
