I think this is a good idea for ranked and maybe draft pick games, you can still play your fav champ in normal game. Then once the champ is balanced they will become available in ranked game again. This follows the example of Magic the Gathering, a card game which bans op cards.

I think once we hit around 150 champions that the ban phase should probably have the number of bans extended, we're not quite at that point yet, there are only a few champions that actually need to be banned depending on what elo meta you're playing in. Ekko however is pretty universal.

that is awful and bad by theory, what we REALLY need is the ability to have 5 bans per team, there is 130 champs as it stands and ffs there are so many champs that sneak through that do the same damn thing....
